 Haleyville City Council - March 6, 2007

  • The Council approved work session minutes 2/20/07, public hearing  minutes 2/20/07, and regular council meeting minutes 2/20/07
  • Dicky Sparks, CPA, city financial auditor presented a good report on

  • Johnny Thompson discussed the planned adoption of the new subdivision  regulations for the city. 160x120 Quicktime Video >>>
  • Leon Bridges asked the status of reopening the Alabama Avenue  railroad bridge. Shane Cook stated the Norfork-Southern Railroad will  keep the track under the bridge in use for parking trains. Cook was  asked to contact the railroad officials again and a possible lawsuit  was discussed to force the RR to reopen the bridge.
  • The Haleyville City Council next scheduled meeting will be Tuesday, March 20, 6 PM at city hall.
